Danville Brewing Co. plans expansion to Pleasanton Danville Brewing Company, an award-winning brewery based in Danville, has plans to expand to Pleasanton with a new structure built from the ground up.The new space is expected to be between 9,000 and 10,000 square feet, says owner Marcus Maita. Located at what’s currently an empty lot at 3595 Utah St. in Pleasanton, the new brewery space will include more space for making beer, a taproom and an outdoor beer garden, he says.It’s still early — right now the team is “going through the tedious stuff” of working with planners, architects and contractors — and they’re hoping to have the new space ready in under two years, Maita says.Danville Brewing Co. specializes in making West Coast IPAs, lagers and Hazy IPAs, and is planning an expansion with a new location in Pleasanton, to be built from the ground up. First East Bay officer roped into massive scandal pleads no contest ANTIOCH, Calif. (KRON) -- A former Antioch police officer pleaded no contest in court on Thursday after he was accused of interfering with a bombshell criminal investigation into dozens of East Bay police officers. Ex-Antioch Police Department officer Timothy Manly-Williams pleaded no contest to one felony count of conspiracy to commit an act injurious to the public, and one misdemeanor count of altering evidence, District Attorney's Office spokesperson Ted Asregadoo told KRON4. The judge said the maximum sentence Manly-Williams will face is three years, four months in prison. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for March 19 in Contra Costa County Superior Court.Manly-Williams was employed as a police officer in Pittsburg before he was hired by Antioch in 2019, according to APD's Facebook page.
