Arrest made in $94K spear phishing scam that targeted GTHA homeless shelter Peel Regional Police have arrested a 33-year-old man behind an alleged spear phishing scam that duped the Good Shepherd in Hamilton, Ont.Investigators said the Good Shepherd organization was invoiced for work by a contractor who was known to them. The contractor had their business email compromised and imitated to look like the genuine online contact information.Peel Regional Police said Good Shepherd was advised to send outstanding payments of over $94,000 to a different bank account, and once they learned that the funds were not received by the contractor, police were notified and an investigation commenced.Authorities arrested 33-year-old Emmanuel Pobee of Mississauga on September 29. He was charged with possession of property obtained by crime. 2 teens injured in shooting in Chicago's Kenwood neighborhood CHICAGO — Two teens were hospitalized on Tuesday afternoon after a shooting in the city's Kenwood neighborhood, police say. According to Chicago police, the shooting, which left a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old injured, happened in the 4300 Block of South Lake Park around 5:30 p.m. CTA bus supervisor shot on Chicago’s Southwest Side Offices say it happened after the 17-year-old boy attempted to break up a fight in the area. The people involved in the altercation fled from the scene, but police say they later returned with a gun. Chicago Police say the offenders fired shots at the two teens, hitting both of them in the lower back. Teen victim identified in fatal Southlands Mall shooting in Aurora The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office identified the teenager who died after a shooting at Southlands Mall on Saturday night and ruled his death a homicide.Raphael Velin, 15, died of gunshot wounds after he was shot in the parking lot outside the mall at 6155 S.
