Two-Vehicle Collision near Del Rosa Drive Left One DeadSAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 1, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, a fiery crash on 9th Street claimed the life of a woman.The deadly crash happened on July 29th, at around 12:14 a.m. at the intersection of 9th Street and Del Rosa Drive.According to the sheriff’s department, a Toyota Tacoma driven by a 22-year-old from Hemet failed to stop at a red light while traveling eastbound.Consequently, the Toyota pickup collided with a northbound Lexus sedan on Del Rosa Drive. The impact of the collision caused the Lexus to catch on fire and trapped the female driver. The crash also impacted a wooden fence located over the sidewalk.The first responders declared the woman dead at the scene.
