CHICAGO — One in 6 to 7 women suffer with the condition often undiagnosed and under treated. But more than anything, it puts a woman’s health at risk — for their joy, their well-being and ultimately an increased risk of suicidal ideation and death.”Mother of three Andrea Hartman wants...One seriously injured after motorcycle crash in southeast Austin, ATCEMS says

Most power hitters will say that they step to the plate with the goal of making solid contact. If they’re successful enough, they reason, the home runs will come.New Saints slugger Yunior Severino is not among them. The switch-hitting, 23-year-old native of the Dominican Republic approaches each at-bat with the same goal — hit the ball out — and he’s been particularly good at it this season.Severino had a franchise-record 24 home runs with Double-A Wichita before getting called up to the Saints a week ago, and added No. 25 on Tuesday in his first home game with the Saints.“He’s got a lot of thump,” Saints manager Toby Gardenhire said of the 6-foot, 189-pound Severino. “That ball flies off his bat. He’s got a lot of bat speed from both sides of the plate.”Twenty of Severino’s 25 home runs have come from the left side of the plate, but he came into Thursday’s game averaging a home run every 16 at-bats as a right-hander, and every 15.6 at-bats as a left-hander.“He’s had a really g...‘Gross’ performance by Lynx leads to loss against last-place team

The Lynx have plenty of time to think about Thursday’s disappointing performance. There’s plenty they’d probably prefer to forget.Playing poor defense, letting their opponent control the boards leading to easy baskets, and their superstar again battling foul trouble were just parts of what added up to a 91-73 loss at last-place Indiana.“As a whole, we just didn’t have that connectedness and, like, deep want to go out there and win the game. I don’t even think we had that many moments. It just was an overall gross game,” said Rachel Banham. “You want it or you don’t want it. Collectively we did not want it enough and they very much did and it showed.”Minnesota (14-16) has lost three of four after winning four of five, and the next game is Aug.18 in Seattle. Ten games remain in the regular season.“This is not the way you want to go into a few days off.
