(NEWS10) -- Whether you’ve seen him protesting police brutality or raising his concerns at city council, Saratoga Black Lives Matter Leader Lexis Figuereo doesn’t shy away from controversy. For years, the local movement's co-founder has been the subject of headlines and clips passed around online showing BLM blocking streets, facing arrest, and refusing to be silenced at city council meetings. Novak Djokovic tries to put issue of Kosovo comments behind him at French Open By HOWARD FENDRICH (AP Tennis Writer)PARIS (AP) — Novak Djokovic sure seemed like someone ready to move on from the latest non-tennis issue he’s been involved in during a Grand Slam tournament. Criticized after his previous match for comments about clashes in northern Kosovo between ethnic Serbs and NATO-led peacekeepers, the 22-time major champion stayed away from political matters on Wednesday night. Attitude at altitude: Heat coach Erik Spoelstra couldn’t care less about the 5,280 feet between Miami and Denver Erik Spoelstra wanted nothing to do with the altitude conversation Wednesday afternoon. The first question asked of the 15th-year Miami head coach at Ball Arena ahead of the NBA Finals opener Thursday night was about playing on the Front Range with much shorter rest than an acclimated Denver team.He put zero stock into 5,280 feet.“If Denver wants to tip this thing off at the top of Everest, we’ll do that,” Spoelstra, the two-time NBA champion, said. “This thing is going to be decided between the four lines. They’ve also got to come back to Miami. If you want to make it about that, we’ll turn off the air conditioning and they’ve got to play in 90-degree humidity, sap the (crap) out of their legs.“This thing is going to be decided between those four lines, and we’ll decide it then.”Heat guard Duncan Robinson echoed his head coach’s sentiment.“I mean, we’ve played here before, so it’s not some folklore that no one has seen before,” he said. “A l...
