(CNN Español) — El Congreso de Guatemala aprobó este jueves una resolución que retira la inmunidad a cuatro de los cinco magistrados del Tribunal Supremo Electoral del país.La petición aprobada, impulsada por el Ministerio Público guatemalteco, señala a los magistrados Irma Palencia, Mynor Franco, Gabriel Aguilera y Ranulfo Rojas, y la decisión del Congreso permite que sean acusados o incluso detenidos por la supuesta compra ilegal de un equipo de cómputo de datos no oficiales, que se habría utilizado en las elecciones presidenciales celebradas este año.Los magistrados son acusados de delitos de usurpación de funciones, abuso de autoridad e incumplimiento de deberes al suscribir un contrato con la compañía Datasys.CNN intentó contactar a los magistrados para obtener sus comentarios.
