(CNN Español) — Al menos cinco personas murieron y ocho más resultaron heridas este domingo luego de que sujetos abrieran fuego en una vivienda ubicada en la Isla Trinitaria de Guayaquil, Ecuador, informó a medios de comunicación el comandante regional de la Policía Nacional, Fabary Montalvo Calderón.Montalvo dijo que entre los fallecidos hay un funcionario policial que trabajaba en una oficina del Servicio Integrado de Seguridad ECU 911, aunque no adelantó ninguna hipótesis sobre el ataque.El comandante indicó que –según testigos– tres sujetos llegaron al domicilio en una motocicleta y entraron al lugar, donde abrieron fuego.Los heridos fueron trasladados a hospitales de la ciudad, dijo Montalvo, aunque no detalló en qué condición estaban.Hasta este domingo no se reportaban arrestos por el ataque.The-CNN-Wire™ & © 2023 Cable News Network, Inc., a Warner Bros.
