The Giants (0-1) and Cardinals (0-1) are both looking for their first win of the season when the teams meet on Sunday in Arizona.“Just having played them a couple of times being in that division, it’s going to be a good fight.” Gannon said. Bloom did a great job building towards the future, but at the end of the day three poor finishes in four years wasn’t going to cut it.With Bloom out, it’s natural to wonder what this could mean for Alex Cora going forward.Though Red Sox CEO Sam Kennedy said he envisions Cora back as manager, he also said Bloom’s successor will be empowered to make whatever changes to the on-field product he believes are necessary. That includes the coaching staff, and it’s easy to imagine the new baseball boss preferring to bring in his own guy.Speaking to the media following Bloom’s ouster, Cora was vague when asked how much clarity he has on his future with the organization.“I’ll finish the season, spend some time here, I’ll go home and get ready for next year,” Cora said, repeating the answer w...Latest news
