The battery technology that could change the world of electric car . We’ve all heard the story: you buy an electric car, andhead off for that 300km journey. Less than 200km later, it’s time for a recharge.“It’s rarely what is says on the tin,” says Himanshu Patel, founder of Triton EV. The New Jersey based company which is cornering the market for commercial electric vehicles has one huge trump card up its sleeve: a patent ofits own, known as Power Home Link.“The difference is this not only charges your car, but actually reduces the dependency on power grids during peak hours, when fossil fuels are used. Sowhat this ends up doing is acting as a power backup for the house. This is especially useful in countries like India where power outages are still a huge issue,” says Patel. He adds: “What we are doing is net metering, so residential and commercial customers who generate their own electricity can sell the electricity they are not using back into the grid.”Put simply, rather than j...7 Benefits of Having a Digital Credentials Wallet
