St. Louis weather from Meteorologist Angela Hutti:ST. LOUIS - Welcome to the last few hours of winter. It will be cold out the door Monday, as wake up temperatures are in the 20s. However, we will be sunny, breezy, and turning warmer - highs will be in the mid to upper 50s. Spring officially begins at 4:24 p.m. Monday night, clouds will increase, and it won't be as cold. Wake up temps Tuesday are set in the upper 30s. St. Louis radar: See a map of current weather here Breezy and cool, Tuesday. Spot showers are expected in the morning, with rain likely in the afternoon and evening. Temp highs in the mid to upper 40s, and some lingering showers overnight. Temps only dip into the lower 40s. Breezy and warmer than on Wednesday, highs in the 60s. JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Conservative groups are planning to rally at the Missouri Capitol Monday.The Missouri Freedom Foundation and others want state lawmakers to enact strict limits on transgender healthcare for minors. ST. LOUIS - Professional chess comes to the St. Louis area. Local grand masters are showing off their skills in the American Cup Tournament. That's where 16 of the best chess players in the United States are competing this week. This is the second annual American cup.A few local players are competing in the tournament - including Fabiano Caruana, who was the world championship contender in 2018. "We have 16 of the best chess players in the United States, but also they are competing in an interesting and intriguing time format - so they combine the classical time format, the rapid time format, the blitz time format, and the Armageddon," Grand master Cristian Chirila shared. Sometimes moms and pups get separated. And pups under eight weeks old have little chance of surviving on their own.Since 2001, the Monterey Bay Aquarium has rescued stranded otter babies — more than half of them under two weeks old — and rehabilitated them through their otter surrogacy program.
