CENTENNIAL, Colo. (KDVR) -- There is a large police presence at a Walmart in Centennial after a report of shots fired, however, the sheriff said this is not an active shooter situation.According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, a deputy was in the area of the Walmart at 10900 East Briarwood Avenue when she noticed people running from it. DENVER (KDVR) — Police have issued a nationwide warrant for a man who allegedly killed a 20-year-old woman in Federal Heights.On Dec. 30, Federal Heights Police Department officers were called to a possible stabbing outside the Tuscan Heights Apartments, located at 1700 W. 85th Ave.When police arrived, they transported the woman to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.Police identified the victim as 20-year-old Sachely Diaz. Federal Heights police said the suspect knew Diaz. Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives arrested a 17-year-old in connection to a fatal shooting in Tamarac.According to BSO, on Wednesday, Nov. 22, authorities responded to reports of shots fired near the 7000 block of Northwest 79th Avenue. Deputies said they discovered a 21-year-old man inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.Homicide detectives said they found that the victim had been shot while inside the vehicle, which he subsequently crashed into a nearby pole.Through investigative methods, the suspect was identified, and a search warrant was executed at his home in Margate.The 17-year-old has been booked into the Juvenile Assessment Center on a felony murder charge.DeSantis and Haley will appear at next week’s CNN debate at the same time as Trump’s Fox town hall

A Sunrise Police officer and a suspect were hospitalized following an officer-involved shooting in Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale Police responded to the area of 200 Street and Northwest 22nd Avenue, just after 2 p.m. The officer was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center via ground transport with a gunshot wound to their leg. The suspect was also transported to an area hospital as a result of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known. According to Fort Lauderdale Police, the officer was conducting an investigation within the city. Details of the investigation are not yet known.
