Pablo Avila-Banagas, who was 17 at the time, pled guilty on July 11 to a misdemeanor charge of assault causing bodily injury.Court paperwork showed Judge David Crain sentenced Avila-Banagas on July 11 to 364 days in Travis County jail along with credit for 305 days for time served.According to the Austin Police Department, officers responded to a call Sept. 3 after a pedestrian, later identified as Rogelio De Luna, was hit by a vehicle in the parking lot in the 9200 block of North Lamar Boulevard.On Sept. 21, Austin police officers and Cops for Charities purchased and donated a new electric wheelchair for De Luna.

1 dead, 1 injured in East Greenbush motorcycle crash EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- One person is dead and another is seriously injured after a motorcycle crash in East Greenbush. The East Greenbush Police Department said Richard Davis, 63, of Schodack was killed, and John Agan, 67, of East Greenbush is in critical condition. The crash took place on Columbia Turnpike on Thursday around 4:40 p.m. Police said an 87-year-old turned their car in front of the motorcycle, causing the crash. Both were brought to Albany Medical Center where Davis was pronounced dead and Agan was listed in critical condition.No charges have been filed against the driver of the car at this point. LOUIS - Twenty-five-year-old Jacorren Riley is facing first-degree murder charges for an ostensible retaliation murder.Levi Henning had only been out of prison on bond for about a month before he was gunned down on June 22 near his home in the 5600 block of Bartmer Avenue."I've never had a client murdered, especially on his way to court,” said W. David Mueller, Henning’s attorney.On Wednesday, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department arrested Riley for Henning's murder. Riley is the older brother of Carieal Doss, who was murdered three years ago. Henning was once charged with murder before the circuit attorney’s office under Kim Gardner dropped the case in March because of mishandled evidence.
